“Youth of the Homo Sapiens” is inspired by childhood. Many of my most vivid memories are from when I was very young, perhaps because the world felt so intriguing and stable then, it still does now—but less often. To me, childhood seems to be a space of absorption, a place where we are all eyes for the world and customs and people around us.
