A Universe in Tens

The observable universe, from our vantage point on the earth, seems endless. Yet we are rooted here, on a planet orbiting a single star. Each eyeball represents a planet in our solar system. They are placed in a similar alignment to how the planets are aligned in the solar system today. “A Universe in Tens” is reminiscent of the subtle and absolutely necessary connection between us, our planet, the solar system, and the universe around us. Our entire world can be reduced to a blue smudge and yet that blue smudge is our entire experience.
